Anaheim is the second largest of the Orange County cities (the largest is Irvine). It boasts of a number of famous leisure and entertainment attractions, many of which attract thousands of tourists from around the world every year.

Although it certainly offers many stunning natural attractions, Anaheim is most famous for its many leisure and entertainment establishments, with its selection of theme parks, sports facilities, and convention centers spearheaded by the world-famous Disneyland complex, with its theme parks, resort, and an adventure park located in close proximity to each other.

Anaheim is also know for the modernly appointed Anaheim Garden Walk, which covers a vast area comprised of scores of dining and entertainment establishments, along with a host of retail shops. The city also boasts of the Anaheim Convention Center, which is the largest of its kind in the West Coast, several world-class golf courses, and a public ice skating rink.

Anaheim had a population of 336,265 as estimated in the 2010 census. It is the most heavily populated in Orange County, and the tenth most populous in the state. Given the active development in the Anaheim Hills and the Platinum Triangle district, Anaheim is expected to have a population of more than 400,000 residents by 2014.
